Brandenberg Gate

If you want to get a real feel for history visit the Brandenberg gate.

I was there in April this year.

It was fascinating to stand in the spot which had been inaccessible to West Berliners for so many years.

I must admit I am not really sure what I am doing with this course. I plan to attend the workshop tomorrow at Ivanhoe

e.g. underneath this box that I am typing in it says that I can use some HTML tags - I don't know what they are.

Hi, Graham
The last time I visited Berlin (I think it was 1973) this spot was a wilderness of barbed wire.

I didn't realise there were 'realtime' sessions for this program. I thought we had to do it all at home. I'm going to have a look around the info and see if I can figure out when they are.
If all else fails, I'll use old technology (my feet) and go up to the library and ask.

An email from Lynette at the library suggested workshops at Ivanhoe and Eltham libraries at 10.00am Friday mornings. I am not sure if they are on-going but the 3rd session at Ivanhoe is scheduled for Friday 4th August.
